This green chrysoprase ring is inspired by what I see when I listen to an electric guitar. Electric guitar is silver, greys and whites and is represented here by the sterling silver. The apple green chrysoprase is one of the colours that I see when I hear bass guitar playing. It’s smooth shape also reflects the more rounded shapes I see in the bass. The sterling silver I used to make this green chrysoprase ring comes from old and broken silverware and cutlery. Consequently, I can eliminate the need for newly mined silver in my work. I melted a piece of old silverware down. Then I hand forged the resulting ingot of molten silver into this green chrysoprase ring. This ring has a full UK Hallmark which guarantees it is sterling silver.
